N3O tourney!
Hey guys I've been interested in organizing a little just for fun tourney between us. Just wanted to know who'd be interested to see if we get enough people.
I've been thinking of doing either straight up 1v1 tourney, or maybe even 2v2.
Another idea was to have large 8 players FFA kinda like they did on aoe3heaven (I think it was there). Where you get points not just for winning but for different missions or themes. It was something like points for winner, points for first person to industrial, points for attacking under X mins etc etc so I figure we can come up with our own point system for sc II and play a few of these to see who gets the most points.
So whos interested? and any thoughts?

Re: N3O tourney?
they said the first balance patch will take some time before they release it. They don't want to patch the game into oblivion like they did in WoL

Re: N3O tourney?
If any race would be the strongest, I'd say it's Terran yeah.
Atm it kinda seems like Terran > Toss (slightly), Terran > Zerg (slightly aswell) and then Toss >>> Zerg

Well so far Terrans are doing the best in GSL, and they did awesome at IEM aswell. I feel like speed medivacs are rly strong against protoss if (ab)used correctly.
Btw dan, dunno if you know but I actually play Terran myself so there's quite a bit of objectivity from my part.

Re: N3O tourney?
i base what i know from what i hear and read , all of which state that T is no longer versatile as it once was and doesn't enjoy the same cushioning that Z and P have been granted.
cannot deny that T are the meager minority , most tournies feature just a few T since many T players have either switched race or been eliminated early on.
btw : medivac and widows are the only thing T has going for them....imagine what would happen should they receive nerfs that many P players constantly go on about.
off topic : in various streams i have viewed this past 2 weeks , 17 confirmed map hackers - has to be affect race win rates. all those map hackers were Z players , i haven't heard or seen any P or T players doing it yet.
