Damn good game. It's incredibly how Swinger came back from a terrible loss and won. Just goes to show that it pays to fight to the bloody end.

I played a few QSs today as Dutch and got completely pounded while trying this strategy. That game was obviously a fluke. I'll keep trying, though.

I sent military cards first and then by the time I could have sent the bank wagon, I already had four and it was pointless. Banks are good and all, but the Dutch economy can easily do without them early on, as this game shows.

Really? Maybe other aspects of them need a little boost, but the ugrade cards later on really need a nerf.

I think that a good way to fix ashigaru is to make the auras and consulate attack boost NOT stack. Stacking is what makes them OP. Also, cut down the close combat and ashigaru attack cards by 5% each.

The thing about Japan is that they're both unraidable and are completely invincible once they send a few cards for ashigaru. (They can have over 40 attack in age 2.) Naginata are also beasts once they have a few cards.

I usually don't bother to do that cause most maps aren't as good for that. I probably should make an effort to do that from now on.

Shrines have a good 1600 hp and only cost 125 wood to replace. If he lets them die and is unable to replace them, then he's a noob. It's completely fair.
