Re: Outlaws and Mercenaries.
Afaik mercenaries are better, with outlaws being like an age 2 unit with limited use past the colonial age. Outlaws also work within the counter system though what outlaw counters what isn't as immediately clear.

Re: Dream Team for AOE 3
Hehe, yeah they were pretty awesome games. We knew we couldn't beat these guys conventionally so came up with those death or glory rushes, I remember it was just the one Aztec guy booming in the back that kept us from our first RTSL win. Well at least they couldn't call us predictable!

Re: Dream Team for AOE 3
To reminisce a dream team I often played in would be me and any of the following:
Emeroral2
StrokeyBlofeld
LaZy_TuGa
Djdan
We kicked some ass and had a laugh back in the days of TWC and early TAD. Gren rushes and double pike rushes ftw. Triple ff ftl, but funny as hell.

Re: new Nightmare
I love Zombie movies too and quite like horror movies in general. The seem to give a delightful B movie vibe, but in a good way. You can't take them seriously but they are all the more fun for it.

Re: the OFFICAL what book are u reading now?
Sharpe's Havoc, can't remember that one specifically but I've read quite a few Sharpes and they are all excellent. In fact anything by Cornwell is superb, he manages to bring any period in history to life and if you like the time period of AOE3 you should read Sharpe. In fact I've just finished read...

Re: I think I discovered something...
Haha Jim. To be fair I was desperately trying not 2 hit your guys and go 4 the unction lamer, but he hid right in the back of your base and after about 3 attempts to run through your base and hit his I just gave up and hit you instead. Its your own fault for stopping me reaching his base! ...

Re: Learning English?
Yeah my Dad was taught Latin by a catholic priest too, except he didn't use detention he used a cane and if you weren't paying attention he would throw a bible at you. Those days are long gone now of course.

Re: Learning English?
I think they still teach Latin in Public schools over here, which perversely means schools that aren't public and you have to pay tuition for.

Re: Learning English?
I think the whole English is easy to learn conception that people have is heavily influenced by how common it is. It's everywhere and people are exposed to it from an early age. I wonder if French or German was the dominant language would we be saying they are easy and English is hard to learn? Of c...
