I run Vista 64 and have had only one problem in the last year, I love it!

Ok. 64 is WAYYY better. Programs optimized for 64 bit will run MUCH faster, including the operating system. Games and programs that do not run properly on 64 bit OS can be set to run in 32 bit mode.

If using 32 bit, your maximum ram is:

A = *some value that I now forget*

A^32 = about 3.25Gb ram
64 bit:
A^64 = about 117 trillion gigabytes of ram. :D (Of course, no OS can handle that).

If you ever want to upgrade your ram, you won't be able to unless you go with 64 bit...

There are also many computing benefits to 64 bit, such as being able to handle bigger data streams and such.
