N3O vs NerVe gets reviewed at RTS-League forums
For those of you who were following N3O through the recent RTSL season, you may have already seen the replay I posted in our rec games section.
Browsing through the RTSL site earlier, I noticed that Mattlight has given this game a review in the "Media Team Featured Coverage" section.
Nice write up, and will be interesting to see what peoples comments are. Only downside to this may be my already dead gren/pike rush is now even deader! lol.

Made me proud of N3O to read that review.

It may do, I was looking at it more as adding to our "fair play" style reputation and as getting us a little more recognition as a clan in the RTS league.

nice review!
about the strat, are those pikes really needed? maybe a more versatile unit like musk (or ashi) or rods could be better?

Rods would work well, pikes were initially chosen because of their fast train time and their "spammability". The main objective of the pike here is to protect the grens. As you say, there are other options though that may work equally well or better.

I did think to go musks in that game but I can get pikes out faster and they do a better job at killing suicidal cav, bent on killing grenadiers.

That was a very well written review. Much respect to the person who wrote it. His pointing out of the flaw is interesting too.

Great game.
Next year we should do some more unique strats.
