WHen I started playing AOE, some dudes were saying you should FF.
I asked them what it meant and they responded: F*** Flower.
And for awhile when some asked me if i wanted to FF , i was shouting(captial writing) words at him lol.

I typed in 'lbow' as 'lpwn' once
I always type "spanish" as "Spahisn" after otto laming a noob on nilla
When I first saw people talking about ELO i thought Age of Chess was born
I misread Petards as Retards at first...serious
Funny thing to do: Make a 'password quest' with a really easy question but a very difficult-to-spell answer. E.g. Which Indian Ranged-Infantry unit costs two population (Mansabdar Gurkha...or something like that

). You always get funny spellings
Mansaber Gurka
Mansaver Gurkha
Monsabvar Gurkha
Noob tip: Don't play a civ with a language you can't speak, I misunderstood the Russian settlers to be saying "prostitute" and the ottoman settlers to be saying "Saddam" (I was actually close with the ottoman one...)

If we use this as a rule, none of us should play the Brits, because they ain't speaking English we use today! For example, if my wife asks me to go to the store, I do not respond: "I mene so! Avaunce! I wiss!"

Long ago, I was playing a 3v3 and this guy who was playing the French had a problem spelling 'Gendarme'.
Him: I'm gonna mass Gemdarnmemes.
My other teammate: ?
Him: I'm gonna mass Gemdarnesses.
My other teammate: Dude, just say cuirs.

^ LOL, yes, for the French noobs among us, that is a tough word.
I like the way Drew says it, myself: "Jander Manes."
When you cross the Austrian border in a train, uniformed men and women called "die Gendarmerie" come on board to check your passport. And you'd better have it ready, because they do area damage
