A thread for "Quick Questions"?

The title kind of says it all. I thought this might be a good idea.

A thread for questions that don't really warrant a full thread.

So I have one...

In this forum, do PM's get sent instantly or do they hang out in the outbox for awhile? I noticed some go through quickly, while others tend to linger. :?

My experience is they go right away, but the reporting sometimes lags. I've received responses on some that were not even listed as "sent" yet.

Why does the information desk at malls not have all the information? Like why can't they tell you why the sky is blue?

Are those quick enough?

Yes, they are instant. They stay in your Outbox until the person you sent it to reads the message then it is moved to your Sent Box.

A) because they don't pay them enough to know everything, but we expect it to improve now that Obama is in office (correction: elected)
B) because they don't have physics degrees
C) needs work, but not bad. Please post a certified typing time with your questions next time so we can start Six Sigma metrics and start you on a continuous improvement path for quicker questioning.

The Chaos Theory method from Lorenz and Poincaré is a technique that can be used for studying complex and dynamic systems to reveal patterns of order (non-chaos) out of seemingly chaotic behaviors.
