a 4v4 in a n3o + jkl4lif3 game.

i did an early boom, which i dont really do, but it worked out while having hussars coming out the whole time practiclly, until age 3, while i 3 tc cdb boomed. my boom didnt really help the team, but i got imperial gendarmes, which basiclly scared them and then they resigned. a good recorded game to see a good early french boom.

yes... too bad that there is no rec file attached :-P

and its not a french boom, its a hussar spamming while having a good boom, and some good battles.

Don't be discouraged from posting recs, people. I love watching any and all of them. There is always something to learn. Plus, I love seeing what people will do in 3v3 and 4v4 team games; there is a severe lack of those recordings. Thanks for posting, JKL!

No need. Dutch late game skirms are way better. Plus, most games never make it that far, and most people do not rely on Germans for RI in team. If you are in Age 4, czapkas or War Wagons or Doppels are much better team contributors because they are unique, deadly and card-upgraded up the wing-wang. Skirms only get one lousy HP upgrade in Age 4. By then, it's kinda like: "Who cares?"

Don't get me wrong; I love skirms. It's just that you'll rarely have the right opportunity to go all-skirm in team games. If anything, a dual rax xbow spam is more useful in the colonial wars, which usually decide a 3v3. Going FF for skirms with Germans is just a waste (or a suicide mission) in most team games.

I have to be honest here. For a major I was quite surprised by many things.

You used berries in Age I and then throughout instead of herding/hunting.
You had a 5:00+ minute age time without herding.
You had 10 Cav when Shizle had 17 Uhlans and then housed yourself.
You had loads of cav, but did almost no raiding or harrassment.
You ran into melee musks, while your teamates took out the falcs and skirms, then you sat back and boomed while your teammates took map control and basically did the leg-work of the game. The other team was not "scared" of your gendarmes as much as they were beat because they gave up map control.

This may show a "good boom", but it does not show good team work.

I was quite impressed with Lazy and Joe's game while Shizle did quite well to help the team effort allowing you to boom. The teams also looked a little lop-sided.

my hussars went into his muskets cuz the skirms and abus guns were wide open for cav, so i basiclly took the risk of losing my cav while they lost their skirms + abus guns.

Yeah me and lazy went for one side each while Shizle help on the side when needed.

the uhlan attack card says light infantry: 15% more attack

I played poorly. My Uhlans seemed to melt when I thought they'd do well in a couple of fights. I'm still learning their strengths and weaknesses. They seem to be unbeatable when I play against them and melt when I use them. Lol. Oh well, on the the next game.
