N3O Age Of Empires and Starcraft 2 Clan

Reminds me of the fact that there was a kid at my school who had cerebal palsy (sp?) Basically he could barely walk, and was very hard to understand and had to get a lot of help from that staff. I'll admit I probably gave him a hard time when I was a lot younger (due to me wanting to be one of the crowd (you know how it goes)) What changed it for me was when we had the Speakers Dinner. He did the most moving presentation ever in which he described how it is living with a disability. You could have heard a pin drop in that hall. It had both women and men crying, but what made it most poiniant was the fact that he actually singled out people who had made his life easier and one of those people had been me. It had been just a small thing (I had forgotten about it) yet it had made a big impact on him. Gotta say, I haven't felt that crap in a long time, knowing that I had at times made his life harder then it already was with the popular people, yet he considered me a friend. From there on in, I made sure that I never make anyone, disabled or not, feel left out or unwanted again.

I suppose what I am trying to say in a shortened version, is that everyone has their qualities. Try and imagine this guy you mentioned, mrsniffler, as a chocolate. You and me are sitting here and our wrappers are fine. His wrapper is slightly damaged, yet both of us still have the same good chocolate inside. That is what is the impoartant thing. No matter how we appear we are the same inside.

Man, that sucks. I had to take speech lessons with school for 3 years because I slur my words. I managed to make it out of the lessons, but I still slur my words and so it can be frustrating when "mine" comes out like "mines" which to people say "it is mine, not the mines that blow people up". It must suck even more to be dyslectic because it make socializing so much harder. Interesting though, I never realized you were dyslectic.

EDIT: And highlander, I can see what made people cry about his situation. And you have to realize that he is even nicer because he singled out his friends, not the people who acted like jerks to them. He didn't want to embrass them, which shows a lot of compassion.

Yeah I know what you mean, I cant think of any at the moment but im sure lazy will have a whole list. At the first school i went to there was only 8 people in the class all who had simler things like me and we got the help that was needed. Then i moved house and put into a 30 people class but still got the help that i needed.

Yeah nicely put on Vint and Highlander. There is a girl in my grade that I had several classes with her through out highschool who had cerebral palsy. They were mostly my english classes, which I always ended up being in the top 5 smartest kids in most of my english classes. All of the english classes that I had with her she was always was the smartest or in like the top 3. Also she was a pretty nice kid, though I did not know her very well since I do not know very many kids in any of my classes, since I spend most of my class time either listening to my teacher or rushing through my work so I can read my book. Needless to say I have very little friends and dreaded group projects.

Hmm well unfortunately I have to join you guys in the special help class. I was sent there from I think 2nd grade to 6th grade because my voice was monatone. I hated the class, sure we got to play games but I would miss class time for other subjects like when we were being taught how to write in cursive, and then I would have to make up my work during recess. Needless to say I did not do my best work and rushed so I could play with my friends. Also one of my best friends was in that class with me because he stuttered with words that had th in them.

Just in My opinion

I Think it was mostly because you singled out a special education student for following you arround and 'annoying' you. and you continue to single them out by saying not all special ed kids are annoying.
And not mainly as your use of the term 'sped'

when i know Far More People that are Healthy and Are annoying, and have more cases of being annoyed by them than any special education students, infact not in one case have i been annoyed with someone with a disabilty, tbh i respect them more than other people.

I also Believe That People suffering from any mental or Physical are 'better' people as they are greatful for what they Have even though Their Body/Mind arent equal to most other people.

and i think your apology, for the words you used is pathetic.
