N3O Age Of Empires and Starcraft 2 Clan

Lately, I have begun playing with more regularity than I did during the winter. Now that I am comfortably set up in my new apartment and all the teething difficulties are squared away, it looks like I will have much better gaming hours in the next few weeks. I have really enjoyed the clanners; you guys keep reminding me why I love this clan. AOE can be such a fun game when you play it with the right people and for the right reasons.

For those who are interested, my total uhlan tally is now approaching 14000. But the big number to watch is my skirmisher tally! It currently stands at 9891. Just 109 more for the big 10000! I think a good Dutch double rax spam should push me over the top. Let's make history!

Also, don't feel too bad about slaughtering my vills with your Uhlans. At the start of the game (knowing I was on the exposed end), I knew your U's would be coming for me. :-P For the life of me I don't know why I didn't throw up a wall or at least some segments. You did a great job of keeping the pressure on. It was a fun game, and I learned a lot. I'm still awful at team games, but hopefully getting better. ::/

@ Palehorse: In 1v1, my German crossbowmen appear in large numbers. In team games, though, everyone wants uhlans... it's not my fault, I promise! I do not discriminate against xbows; I just give the people what they want :roll: In fact, I am a member of the German Crossbowmen's Equal Rights Association (Verein fuer die Gleichberechtigung deutscher Kreuzbogenschuetzen)

@ Drew : Sounds good, although I feel like my 1v1 skill has probably decayed a bit, while yours is still tip-top. But that is no excuse; here's to more AOE 3

@ Cleeduz: I think you played really well last night. You only lost 9 vils and massed anti-cav very strongly. Dan's Ports were just overwhelming. All I did was my standard 3v3 routine: Keep everyone busy chasing horses while my allies mass and age The thing I love about uhlans is that they don't even need to kill vils. As long as they cause panic, disruption and lost vil seconds, they are doing their job. Of course, it is not nice when they get cornered by 15 rods, but we try to avoid that!

Wow, I've built 17,349 muskets, and nothing else even close.

It may also be interesting that in 182 games with Brits, I've only built 39 rockets.

Nice! You build them with the French, too, so that adds to the total.
