Nice looking game, but I must confess that I never really got into pre-Episode I Star Wars universe. I really like the Imperial era, actually. Give me Grand Moff Tarkin, some Imperial Star Destroyers and Darth Vader--voiced please by James Earl Jones, not that annoying kid--any day of the week.

Kaiser, I think you may be talking about Episode IV, not Episode I. Episode I was the Jar-Jar movie. (which I watched again recently, and was reminded why Jar Jar sucked.)

My 5yo son has almost become an expert on the Star Wars canon. We whoop the heck outta Lego Star Wars on the Wii. Love that game.

i was playing jedi knight: jedi academy online a few years ago, it is amazing, there is no alternative to this game, no game which is just a tiny bit alike to jedi academy

pretty sweet looking trailer there , looks superb on the graphics and plot. original jedi knight games rocked!!!!! i still remember them as well , be either good jedi or evil jedi depending on how you completed missions and if you used unnecessary force and if u attacked droids-innocents . i played both jedi knights games and even the mysteries of the sith sequel and they ruled. when N64 came out i got ahold of the shadows of the empire game and it was fun as well. i have to agree with kaiser on how the games set during the original star wars movies were the best and that the ''choose your destiny'' gameplay of jedi knight was best ive seen in a star wars game.

those cinematic sequences in that original jedi knight game were the best! I just remember going through and playing the game over and over to see what would happen if I went to the dark side this time...what will the group of bad jedi do? God that was the first game with lightsabers...so cool when you got to use them

haha yeah , in those games you had to earn the lightsabers. i still remember doing crazy stuff in those games , like force pushing enemies off of cliffs , saber throwing , concussion rifle blasting a bar full of the bispon cloud city workers to gain evil force points :twisted: . my fav tactic to do on multiplayer mode was to snipe other players with force meteor , back them into a corner , then press jump and saber swing LOL its lame i agree , but when u have 8 players in an arena doing every kind of force attack in the book u have to be lamer then them just to survive it

I think it's a PC game, Michael. But, it won't be released until sometime 2010.
