Actually I disagree sequals can be just as good and even better .. Twilight is one example .. and Star Wars is another...

To be fair though the first twilight film was bloody awful so its not hard to make a better sequel.

surely we agree that if indeed it is just the 1 (which I disagree with) that it would have 2 b Aliens! Althogh the abyss does come very very close.

I'm thinking T2. Aliens is very close and would give you 2. The abyss was a good movie, but all three are not like "james cameron" movies.

True Lies is a James Cameron movie and it is a RIOT ! I laugh so hard every time I watch it.

Lord of the rings follows the 1<2>>>3 imo.
