N3O Age Of Empires and Starcraft 2 Clan

so i went to saturn while i was shopping.

i came across the video game section and i saw..... age of empires 3.
now i say vanilla (vanilla only), gold edition (vanilla+twc in an ugly case), and the complete collection (aoe3+twc+tad)

and guess what. ALL were the same price: 30€!!!

what the hell.
i can understand that when someoen buys all 3 games seperately he has the most beaeutiful boxes (the original ones) but that is such an awkward price politic.
i mean who in their right state of mind would pay the same money for vanilla if he can have all 3 games for the same money ?

That's optimistic pricing, even for all three games, at this late date. I haven't looked over here recently to see what they're asking.

iirc i paid around 59$ for all 3 back in late 07 which is odd considering the games cost more now-a-days

i paid 30 for nilla when it first came out. and 20ea for twc and tad iirc.

Games seem a bit cheaper in Canada.

If I converted to Euro I payed about 30E, 25e, 25E.

which idiot is gonna pay 50 euro nowadays for a 5 year old game which is dieing??? And since they removed some essential cd protection i bet if you can manage to get an online eso account you dont even need to buy the game. And it aint hard to get an eso account nowadays....

last time i brought an aoe3 it £20 for aoe3+TWC.

I obviously payed 50€ 35€ 35€ on the first month for aoe3 and first week for tad and twc which might explain why it was a bit more expensive

well ye my point was, all 3 (aoe, aoe+twc,aoe3+twc+tad) all cost the same which is dumb and unlogical :-P apart from the package, no difference and everybody should just get the complete edition

here in China I saw all 3 games for 7 yuan... new.

does new = legit?

This is Saturn, big store, they don't really look after those things.

I guess they will only sell it cheaper if the comp tells them, that it wasn't sold since 5 years
