Those 1000 tips howto speedup ur system are usually crap and many of them are here so too, esp. if u have a quadcore processor and 6 GB RAM

Esp. disabling UAC endangers security imo

Maybe turning of the index. But i like this feature, if u just write a filename into the text field in the start menu the files are immediately shown to u

The only thing i disabled iis defragment disks in backgroud

Out of all of those tips, maybe 5 or so are reasonable suggestions that may give you a boost comparable to the static created by rubbing a balloon on the hair of a bald man such as myself.
Seriously, a fresh install with your components needs none of the suggestions listed. The only people that worry about the smallest boosts are the ones who are trying for pixelpoints on 3dmark.
