The long-awaited advance to the patch is done. Here is the link.

The download is at the top of the post.

A few extra notes:

- Japanese Yabusame now have 0.30 armor (down from 0.40)

- Indian Sacred Fields: 1 build limit with 10 cow build limit in Discovery Age, 2 build limit with 20 cow build limit in Colonial. (No longer any 3 build limit in Fortress with 30 cow build limit)

- A few balances on the Iroquois Minor Native units.

- Arsonists have 15 Volley Range, and 17 LOS, and cost just 270 coin.

Further ideas:

- Fix trample damage for some cavalry units (Jat Lancers, Elmeti, Mamelukes, etc.)

- Abus guns get 0.75x penalty against Grenadier units

- Mission Fervor Tech should give 0% or 5% speed to priest units.

- Bestieros Tech: Maybe 1500 wood (instead of 1600)

- European Special Church units (except Bestieros) get Free Imperial upgrades (+50% in Imperial). This means that for instance, French Old Garde would get upgraded to Imperial status upon hitting Imperial.

i get the idea you do changes cuz its fun to change alot, abus guns problem is not vs grens LOLOLOLOL, speed priest useless anyway so no need to change, besteiros 1500w 100 w less on such amount doesnt say anything, no thinking behind the number you just do something

WHY?

because he wants to bring in as much stuff as possible to make the game even more fun :D
This patch focuses on balance, getting the useless and underused units back into the game, and giving the game more spice and flavor.

What do you guys say if I try and make buildings left over in Revolution give small XP trickle? For instance, this would be only Mills and Plantatations. This could help civs who have economic buildings and have just revolted. I would not want to give a base XP rate boost upon Revolting because it would boost Spain too much on Revolution. Just a thought.

why boost revolution?

I thought about when a player has sent at least ten cards before revolting, and he/she has economic buildings, such as mills and plantations, but wants to revolt - I want them to be able to get some shipments, such as Gatling Guns and/or the Fort Wagon. I recently played a part where 1600 XP is rather hard to come by when you are scant on resources to build units/kill units and thereby gain XP. However, I agree with you that Revolution is probably fine. Just a thought about buildings giving XP, since the Iroquois got a fun boost with Longhouses that helps them out a lot.

Good to get feedback :).

Quick question about the fan patch in general: compared to the ESO version, how easy is it to find a game?

How easy is it to switch back and forth between the ESO version and the fan patch version?

its close to impossible to find games with the fan patch I think, unless you know people who are willing to switch, switching is pretty easy tho.
