window key = game crash

Evrytime i press the window key while playing aoe the game crash . I have CPU 3.4 GHz DUAL CORE Intel Pentium D processor . Would I need a new processor ? and I just taken off both windows keys so i wont press it again .

Dude, whatever your technical problems don't abuse your keyboard...

Anyway, your processor more than meets the requirements...

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Perhaps you've added/removed any software?

I had this problem before and I discovered it was because I had been adding and removing other games.

This has happened to me, but I can't get it to repeat consistently. Don't hit the Windows key. And removing the Windows key is not abusing your keyboard.

I push the windows key and it only minimizes the game. I can go to a web-browser, surf the web, download stuff, and press the game on the bar and it pops right back up. I've NEVER had a problem with it...

Have you got a browser button on your keyboard? If so, does it crash when you press this too?

Same thing happens to me. I removed the key from the keyboard (seriously).

Windows key? Rather press ALT - Esc key. This will minimizes the game. Try it.

Windows key sucks. It's GREAT when you're not in-game, but in-game with no way to disable it....it sucks.

Just buy a keyboard which lets u disable the windows key e.g. Logitech G15 or G11. During the game windows key sucks, but during work with windows i don't want to miss the Windows-Key Shortcuts like Windows+E (Explorer), Windows+D (minimize everything) or Windows+R (run dialog)
