Kaiser, why the british flag for this topic?
No idea. Generally I like to show my ancestral roots by using the German or British flag. Plus I just really like the old British flag (ie, the one without red diagonal stripes; just vertical ones).
When in doubt, I hoist up the German or British flag... just a habit ingrained in my crazy mind

mwahahaha @ dentists
heheheheeh
I 2 luv these forums. They really make my day. Soooooo many posts have had me giggle while working. Thank God 4 my face mask, otherwise my patients would c the beast within. muahahhaha
Glad to know you operate on people whilst trawling through the forums! Guess its that extra attentiveness that makes your patients walk out with the feeling they've had the wrong tooth removed.
Why do 99% of the dental comments, made by our British members, involve the horrid, irreversible and so dreaded EXTRACTION?? Jim and Al always associate dental care with tooth extraction. It clearly shows what my colleagues are percieved as in the UK. Surgery is like 15% of the total Nº of procedures in modern dentistry and is actually the most UNfrequent procedure I do per week (although it is 1 of my fav things!).
Dunno prob cuz I've had four-six teeth out(can't remember exactly I had extra pairs growing) and my sister actually got the wrong tooth taken out! The guy who did that got fired for that and a few other things as well.

Because the only times I have ever been to the dentist is to have teeth out. I don't go for check-ups or anything else. It's all or nothing, either my teeth are ok or they are not... if they are not I go and have them taken out. (Apart from the ones I took out myself, in which case I just go to have the rest of the root taken out).
man, I've seen some wierd "dentists" here in china... this guy had just one chair and a small wooden table outside, next to a busy road. As equipment I recognized a few medieval torture tools - at least that's what those rusty hooks and other items looked like. I bet it's very cheap tho
