I voted Brits, but Aztec and Japan are right up there too.

This patch seems pretty intense.

They are beefing up cav against former LI, so it'll be cool to try out a huss strat and see if they mow down like they are supposed to. The new age 3 politician for Brits seems helpful, but still like not enough help. Overall former LI is going to be a lot stronger versus HI, so muskets will become even more useless in early team games.

On the Aztec side of things, my warrior priests are going to train a lot faster, and maces are going to train faster and hit HI harder. The WP dance improvement helps a lot, but I dont think faster train time will help coys and maces much. The negative multiplier for former LI versus coyotes should help a lot though, it will be interesting to see.

And finally Japan. With a MAJOR early eco upgrade, maybe Ill finally be able to figure them out!

Micro I agree, but macro it probably suited your style because otherwise it is hard.

I played Japanese before the patch, and I will play Japanese after the patch. I would even still play them if they got nerfed. I really like Japanese history and culture.

I'll throw a few games with Chinese and Indian into the mix since I have been doing that before, too.

I just don't like the European Civs so much, don't know why. Native American are ok, but I like the TAD Civs most.
